Seggiano is expanding its premium Italian offering for 2026 with a series of new gluten free pastas and flavour‑driven pestos, strengthening its position as a go‑to brand for artisan, plant‑based innovation.
The gluten free pasta range grows
Seggiano has introduced five new organic gluten free pastas, each crafted using traditional bronze‑drawing and slow‑drying techniques to deliver the structure, flavour and performance expected from premium Italian pasta.
Corn & rice spaghetti
Made from a balanced blend of corn and rice flour, this spaghetti offers a clean, well‑defined bite with subtle sweetness and sauce adhesion. It’s designed as a versatile staple for both classic and minimalist pasta dishes.
Corn & rice tagliatelle
This new ribbon pasta mirrors the same artisan approach, delivering a firm, indulgent texture that stands up to richer sauces. The combination of corn and rice creates a smooth, balanced flavour profile ideal for everything from olive‑oil finishes to ragùs.
Chickpea & rice tagliatelle
A more distinctive addition, this variant blends chickpea and rice flour for a warm, gently nutty flavour with added plant protein and fibre. It offers a robust structure that pairs well with both light and layered sauces.
Amaranth, Teff & Quinoa Conchiglie
Seggiano’s ancient‑grain shell pasta brings depth and complexity to the range. The naturally earthy, nutty notes of amaranth, teff and quinoa elevate a familiar shape designed to cradle sauces beautifully.
Corn & rice maccheroni
A dependable tubular pasta crafted for heartier recipes, this maccheroni combines the sweetness of rice with the strength of corn to deliver a firm, reliable bite.
All pastas are certified gluten free, organic, plant‑based and priced at £5.10 (375g for maccheroni; 250g for all others).
New pestos & sauces for 2026
Seggiano is also expanding its pesto and sauce portfolio with three new additions designed to bring bold, regional Italian flavour to modern cooking.
Pistachio pesto
Made with over 50% pistachios, this vegan pesto is rich, creamy and indulgent, offering buttery sweetness and gentle heat. Ideal for pasta, vegetables or crostini.
Tomato & almond Trapanese pesto
Inspired by western Sicily, this vibrant pesto blends sun‑ripened tomatoes, Sicilian almonds, basil and oregano for a bright, savoury flavour with subtle chilli warmth.
Artichoke & garlic sauce
Produced in Piemonte using freshly harvested artichokes, this velvety, naturally creamy sauce is blended simply with olive oil, garlic and sea salt for an elegant, versatile finish.
Prices range from £5.85 to £9.75, with all products vegan, gluten free and free from fillers or preservatives.
