Ripple Foods has introduced a new organic plant‑based milk in the US designed to offer meaningful protein without compromising on clean‑label credentials, rolling out in Original and Vanilla varieties. The launch marks the company’s move into the organic segment while maintaining its focus on pea‑protein innovation.
The new line delivers 5g of plant‑based protein per serving, giving it significantly more protein than many leading organic dairy‑free milks – including up to 2.5 times more protein than almond milk. Made with organic pea protein, the beverage contains no more than five ingredients and is free from the top nine allergens, including nuts, soy, gluten and dairy.
Ripple positions the product as a solution for consumers who want organic certification but don’t want to sacrifice nutrition – a common trade‑off in the organic plant‑based milk category, where protein levels are often low.
According to the company, the new organic range is formulated without gums, oils or artificial additives, aligning with consumer demand for simpler ingredient lists. The product is intended for everyday use – from cereal and smoothies to standalone drinking – and expands Ripple’s existing lineup of pea‑protein beverages.
The launch comes as protein continues to be one of the strongest purchase drivers in the dairy‑free category. Ripple’s move into organic allows it to compete more directly with almond‑ and oat‑based milks that dominate the organic shelf but typically offer minimal protein.
By combining organic certification with a higher protein content and allergen‑free formulation, Ripple aims to carve out a differentiated position in a crowded market.
